Proud

What is pride? When you are proud of someone to be exact. When you're proud of someone for their accomplishments what you really saying is that there is a special and specific place in your heart that is occupied and only occupied by that person's accomplishments. It is otherwise empty. When you are proud of someone it is not living through them vicariously. It is genuine happiness and gratitude for the gratitude that they, hopefully, have  achieved truthfully. True selflessness is displayed here.

Take a second to look around your surrounding, whether it be your bathroom, the living room, your car, or your bedroom; it must, however, be a space you claim ownership over, and notice how foreign it all looks to you. Or rather, not how foreign it all looks but how foreign it truly is. For how it looks is in fact familial and comforting and negligible since we see it so often we take it for granted.
